Start the engine and run the engine at low idle. 2. Make sure that the parking brake is released. 3. Push down and hold the brake pedal for the remainder of this procedure. 4. Put the the transmission range switch in the HIGH range. 5. Move the transmission shift lever to the THIRD position in FORWARD. 6. Move the hand throttle back to the TRAVEL (DETENT) position. 7. Increase the engine speed to full throttle and run the engine at this speed for one minute. 8. Decrease the engine speed to low idle and move the transmission shift lever to NEUTRAL for 30 seconds. 9. Repeat steps 3 through 8 until the temperature of the torque converter oil is between 180° to 220° F (82° to 104°C).
