The hydrostatic unit also consists of a solenoid valve, two pressure limiter valves, and a flush valve. The variable displacement pump and the fixed displacement motor are in a shared housing. The whole unit is in the flywheel housing. You must insert the hydrostatic unit into the transmission housing from the front. You must use centering pins to center the hydrostatic unit. The hydrostatic unit is a very compact and convenient unit. Hydrostatic pump The hydrostatic pump is an electrically controlled axial piston pump with a swash plate design. The oil flow of the pump can be negative (rotation direction of the motor). Under certain operating conditions, the oil flow of the pump can be positive (rotation direction of the motor). Control of the pump delivery volume There is a single-acting electrical adjustment unit to allow control of the pump delivery volume. You must center the adjustment unit precisely. This means that the pump state is zero delivery at no charge pressure. Hydrostatic motor The motor is a fixed displacement motor. The direction of rotation of the motor can be negative (counter-clockwise) or positive (clockwise).
