Park the machine on a firm level surface. 2. Lower the blade and ripper tool (if so equipped). 3. Engage the park brake and turn the ignition key to the OFF position. 4. Locate the battery master disconnect switch behind the panel on the left side of the cab. 5. Switch the master battery disconnect switch to the OFF position. NOTE: Wait 90 seconds after engine shutdown before turning off the master battery disconnect. After engine shut down, the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system does a purge cycle and the supply module continues to run 6. Locate the cab air filter element behind the operator's compartment. 7. Access the cab air filter element using the steps located on the ripper, the draw bar or the hitch and the grab handles located at the rear of the machine. NOTE: Machine configurations and step locations may differ. 8. Remove the screws from the cab air filter element outer cover. 9. Remove the cab air filter element outer cover. 10. Remove the screws from the cab air filter element inner cover. 11. Remove the cab air filter element inner cover. 12. Remove the cab air filter element. 13. Remove any additional debris from inside the cab air filter element housing.
