Remove and discard all seals, 0-rings, sealing rings, and wear plates. 2. Inspect the distributor housing and distributor plate. Use new parts as necessary. 3. If the bearing cup in the distributor housing or the bearing are damaged, pull the bearing cup from the distribution housing. Install the new bearing cup. 4. Inspect the motor housing, rotor, pistons, roller shafts, and wear plates. The rotor, motor housing, and pistons are a matched set. If any of the these parts are damaged, use a new motor. 5. Inspect the parts of the brake. Us new parts as necessary. Measure the thickness of the friction discs. The thickness must be a minimum of .079 inch (2 mm). The steel discs must be flat and .058 to .060 inch (1.47 to 1.53 mm) thick. 6. Inspect the bearing on the shaft. If the bearing is damaged, remove the bearing. Check the splines and bearing surfaces of the shaft. Use an new shaft as necessary. 7. Inspect the coupling.
