Install the turbocharger assembly on the exhaust manifold. Tightening torque: 52 N·m (38 lb ft) NOTICE: The specifications of the turbocharger vary with the manufacturer of the machine. 2. Install the exhaust pipe adapter on the turbocharger assembly. Tightening torque: 32 N·m (24 lb ft) No.5 in the diagram 1. Exhaust manifold 2. Turbocharger assembly 3. Exhaust pipe adapter 3. Install the water feed pipe (1) on the cylinder block. NOTICE: Use a new gasket. Tightening torque: 41 N·m (30 lb ft) eyebolt. Tightening torque: 24 N·m (18 lb ft) clip. 4. Install the water return pipe (1) on the water pump assembly. NOTICE: Use a new gasket. Tightening torque: 35 N·m (26 lb ft) eyebolt Tightening torque: 24 N·m (18 lb ft) clip • Tightening order 5. Connect the water return pipe to the turbocharger assembly. Tightening torque: 35 N·m (26 lb ft) eyebolt 1. Water return pipe 6. Install the oil return pipe on the flywheel housing. NOTICE: Use new gaskets. Tightening torque: 22 N·m (16 lb ft) 7. Connect the oil return pipe to the turbocharger assembly. NOTICE: Use new gaskets. Tightening torque: 9 N·m (6.64 lb ft) 8. Refill the turbocharger assembly with engine oil. NOTICE: Inject clean engine oil (about 15–20 cm³ through the oil feed port.
