With a nylon sling, hold offset cylinder (3) by crane. CAUTION: Prevent personal injury. Metal debris may fly off when a hammer is used to remove pins. Be sure to wear necessary protections, such as goggles, hard-hat, etc. 2. Remove nut (4) and bolt (5) and offset cylinder rod end pin (1) from the stopper of upper boom. 3. Disconnect hoses (6) (2 used) from the offset anti-drift valve of offset cylinder (3). Cab the disconnected hoses. 4. Remove nut (7) and bolt (10) from the stopper of upper boom. Remove pin (8) and thrust plates (9) with a bar and hammer. CAUTION: Offset cylinder weight: 70 kg (150 lb) 5. Hoist and remove offset cylinder (1) by crane.
