The points that  have special significance from the safety point-of-view are indicated with a A mark in this manual. Manual Extract: To speed clutches The neutral position is available for forward/reverse. However there is no neutral position for speed clutches. Therefore, after engine starting, the oil fed from the pump is regulated to the specified pressure by the clutch pressure regulator valve, and then directed, through the fixed orifice and pressure detection valve, then through the speed range shift spool (16) to one of the speed clutch piston chambers. Note The engine will not start if the shift lever is set to the forward or reverse position. The shift lever must be set to the neutral position to start the engine. Therefore, the machine will not move when the engine is started. When the 1st speed position, which involves a high reduction ratio, is selected, a certain amount of shock would occur
