It contains brief and precise descriptions, guidelines and drawings of adjustment procedures as well as hydraulic and electrical schematics, and graphically depicted diagrams and sectionals to help you with any repairs, which might become necessary on our hydraulic excavators. Manual Extract – Installing Gearbox Check the checking measurement for axial play of the gearbox, see also category «Technical data of the gearbox» further up in this group. Lift the gearbox with hoisting gear and push it into its bearing in the side frame, ensuring the gearbox is in the correct position. Insert mounting bolts 98 and tighten cross-wise and progressively. Equip hydraulic motor 95 with a new O-ring 97, oil O-ring 97 and slide the motor into the centring device in the gearbox. Slightly turn the engine while doing so so that the gearing of the drive shaft engages in the gearing of the sun gear on the gearbox. Insert mounting bolts 96 and tighten. Connect connecting hose 114 between hydraulic motor 95 and brake connection 89 on the travel gearbox. Push sprocket wheel 105 onto the housing of the gearbox with the help of hoisting gear, insert screws 99 and tighten cross-wise. Attach the protective plate of hydraulic motor 95 to side frame 103. Roll up, close and tension chain 104, see category «Removal and installation of complete track» in group 12. Fill the gearbox with the required oil quantity and tighten filler cap 54 again.
