This manual has been prepared to provide you with technical information on the design and construction of the various components which made up the LIEBHERR excavator.
Manual Extract:
It contains brief and precise descriptions, guidelines and drawings of adjustment procedures as well as hydraulic and electrical schematics, and graphically depicted diagrams and sectionals to help you with any repairs, which might become necessary on our hydraulic excavators.
The horsepower control valve consists of the Llp valve 32, the control valve 34, the combined high pressureand pressure holding valve 36 and 35, and the temperature compensating valve (340 and 341 ).
The Llp valve 32 and the control valve 34 regulate hydraulic force output.
The combined high pressure- and pressure holding valves allow the horsepower control valve to react very fast. On one side, high pressure is monitored immediately, even before Diesel engine RPM drops significantly. On the other side, the pressure holding valve 35 keeps control pressure at a certain level, avoiding constant pressure build-ups from zero. The temperature compensation valve maintains the horsepower control adjustment at the proper setting regardless of ambient temperatures.
Oil flow from the replenishing pump also regulates the horsepower control valve. This oil is filtered through filter 37 at the input side of the horsepower control valve.
