Drain the transmission oil. 2. Remove the hood and other parts. 3. Remove the bolt of 4WD shaft-cover and remove the 4WD shaft-cover from pivot metal. 4. Disconnect the wiring connectors at the right bottom of the steering wheel column. 5. Remove the throttle wire. 6. Disconnect the fuel pipe from the fuel filter. NO TE: Plug the pipe to prevent fuel from spilling. 7. Remove the fuel filter with the stay. 8. Disconnect the delivery and suction pipe from the gear pump. 9. Remove the fuel tank with fuel tank bracket. 10. Remove all the bolts but one which secures the engine and clutch housing. IMPORT ANT: One bolt should remain for safety to prevent the engine and clutch housing from being separated pre-maturely. 11 . Use wooden blocks between the front axle and the front axle bracket on both sides to hold the engine securely. 12. Support the transmission case with a floor jack and hoist the engine with a chain block. Then remove the last bolt. 13. Separate the engine from the clutch housing carefully. REMOVAL OF ENGINE 1. Separating the engine from the clutch housing. 2. Disconnect the bolts for the ground at the right side of font axle bracket. 3. Drain the engine coolant. 4. Disconnect the coolant drain hose. 5. Disconnect the water pipes. 6. Remove the bolts tightening the engine and front axle bracket. NO TE: The engine should be supported with a chain block for safety ahead o f time. 7. Detach the front axle bracket.
