Disconnect the lubricating oil pipe of the balancing unit from the cylinder block. 3. Loosen the fixing bolts of the balancing unit. 4. Remove the balancing unit and the lubricating oil pipe. 5. Loosen the fixing screws to remove the pressure pipe of the oil pump from the cylinder block. 6. Remove the oil pump and the suction and pressure pipes. 7. Remove the flywheel and the crankshaft rear oil seal with housing. 8. Remove the belt pulley and the hub from the crankshaft front end. 9. Remove the timing gear housing. 10. Remove the bearing caps of the connecting rod and push the connecting rods out of the way of the crankshaft. 11. Remove the main bearing caps and lift out the crankshaft. Checking crankshaft NOTE: When grinding, note that the journal edges must remain round. NOTE: Because of the automatic assembly, the thrust bearings are integrated into the main bearings. Undersize spare part main bearings and thrust bearings are always supplied separately
