Remove and refit the cover plate (see chapter Removing/refitting the cover plate, page 9-149 ). 2. Remove the screws (2) and release and remove the pump (32). Remove the "O" rings (22) (23). NOTE: The centring pins (21) are force-fitted into the cover. Refitting Procedure 1. Clean the components and replace any defective parts. Check that none of the related cover plate channels are obstructed. 2. Fit the centring pins (21) to the cover plate (if required). 3. On the cover plate, fit new "O" rings (22) (23) in the recesses of the high and low flow rate channels. 4. Inside the cover plate, apply a bead C of Loctite 574 or equivalent around the four pump screw holes. 5. Refit the pump on the centring pins. 6. Smear the screws (2) with Loctite 221 or equivalent, and tighten them to a torque of 10 Nm–12 Nm. 7. Reassemble and refit the cover plate (see chapter Removing/refitting the cover plate, page 9-149 ).
