If a failure that causes loss of control such as steering, service brakes or engine occurs, stop the machine motion as quickly as possible, follow the shutdown procedure, and keep machine securely park until the problem is fixed. Extract from the Service Manual: Removing the Boom • Lower the front end of the boom so that it is in full contact with the ground. 1. Disconnect the hydraulic hoses (1) from the arm cylinder (2). 2. Suspend the arm cylinder (2) temporarily, then take out the pin (3) and remove the arm cylinder. • Arm Cylinder Weight : Approx. 12 kg 3. Suspend the boom cylinder temporarily and take out the pin (4). • The disconnected end of the cylinder rod should be resting on. the ground. 4. Disconnect the wiring to the boom light. 5. Disconnect the hydraulic hoses (6) from the pipes (7) 6. Suspend the boom (8) temporarily, take out the pin (9) and remove the boom. • Boom Weight: Approx. 49 kg Installing the Boom Follow the procedure used for removal in reverse order.
